Halal Quality Control Italia is the Italian branch of Halal Quality Control, a Halal certification body active since 1983. It carries out conformity assessment and Halal certification activities according to the applicable international schemes, including OIC/SMIIC 1:2019, GSO 2055-1, MS 1500 and the schemes of the national Halal authorities.
Halal certification is issued at the end of a process that includes document review, audits at the production sites and a decision by a certification committee. The outcome is not guaranteed by the mere submission of the application.

Complaints and appeals against certification decisions are submitted according to the dedicated procedure: W0901 — Complaints and Appeals (document in Italian).
